Ferries and airport: staying in Bari before or after your trip
If you are in Bari to catch a ferry or a flight, Casa Iolanda is handy for a night before or after: the station is a 5-minute walk away, the port about 15 minutes by taxi and the airport 20 minutes by train.

Crossings take from about 7½ to 17 hours. Times, company and terminal change with the season: always check them on your ticket.

By taxi

The easiest option with luggage. From the Central Station to the port there is a fixed city fare of €12.
By bus
AMTAB 50
The AMTAB 50 circular bus leaves from Piazza Aldo Moro, a 9-minute walk away, and stops inside the port: customs gate, cruise terminal and maritime station. Check times on amtab.it.
On foot
30 min
About 2.4 km through the centre and the old town: lovely without suitcases, tiring with luggage.
Many companies ask you to reach the port well ahead of departure, up to two hours before if you travel with a car: check the time on your ticket.
To and from the airport
By train
Ferrotramviaria, €5.30
About 20 minutes between the airport station and Bari Centrale (Piazza Aldo Moro side), with more than thirty trains a day. From there it is a 9-minute walk to the flat.
By taxi

About 25 minutes. Between the airport and San Pasquale the city’s fixed fare of €28 applies, all included: the best choice for dawn flights.
By bus
AMTAB 16
Line 16 is the cheapest but takes 40–50 minutes: fine if you are not in a hurry.
Times and luggage
Self check-in is from 3 pm to 11:30 pm and check-out by 10 am. If your ferry arrives in the morning or your flight leaves in the evening, message us: when the calendar allows, we do our best for an early arrival, a late departure or luggage storage.
